The highly-anticipated TVS Apache RTR 310 is set to receive its first major update since its debut in 2023. This update promises to deliver enhanced performance and new features, potentially bringing this naked streetfighter closer in line with the updates received by its sibling, the Apache RR 310.
What’s New with the Apache RTR 310?
The Apache RTR 310 is powered by a 312cc engine developed through the TVS-BMW partnership. This engine currently produces 35.6hp and 28.7Nm of torque, but the new update is expected to bring the sprightlier engine tune introduced with the updated Apache RR 310 last year, which boasts 38hp and 29Nm of torque.
Last year’s RR 310 updates included improvements such as a lighter piston, larger throttle body, and higher air intake volume. If these changes make their way to the RTR 310, riders can expect enhanced acceleration and overall performance. Additionally, the RR 310’s clear clutch cover and aerodynamically optimized winglets may also debut on the RTR 310 in this update.
Pricing and Customization Options
The current pricing for the Apache RTR 310 starts at ₹2.50 lakh for the standard black variant without a quickshifter. The black variant equipped with a quickshifter is priced at ₹2.67 lakh, while the top-end yellow variant retails at ₹2.72 lakh.
It’s likely that the updated RTR 310 will see a moderate price increase due to its upgraded features. TVS will continue offering a range of optional extras for the Apache RTR 310, including:
- Fully adjustable suspension
- Brass-coated chain
- Heated and cooled seat
- Special Sepang Blue paint scheme
This level of customization ensures the Apache RTR 310 caters to a wide array of riding styles and preferences.
Why the Apache RTR 310 Update?
With its anticipated performance upgrades, enhanced feature set, and competitive pricing, the updated Apache RTR 310 is sure to reinforce its position in the highly competitive sporty naked motorcycle segment. Its combination of cutting-edge engineering, premium optional extras, and affordability makes it an attractive choice for enthusiasts and casual riders alike.
