Meet the all-new all-electric Ford Bronco New Energy, an entirely new member of the Bronco family that includes both rEV (ripple Electric Vehicle) and EREV (Extended Range Electric Vehicle) powertrain choices. With cutting-edge tech and sustainability at heart, this SUV is set to be a global launch, albeit one that will start its sales life in China only.

Dimensions and Design
Bruno Bronco New Energy has been created in partnership with Jiangling Motors, Ford’s trusted partner in China. Sporting a bigger body, it’s 5,025mm long, 1,960mm wide and 1,815mm tall, with a solid 2,950mm wheelbase. So it’s marginally wider and longer than the petrol car, but with a wheelbase that remains 2,949mm for maximum width of body and thereby maximum accommodation, up front and in the rear. By comparison, the New Energy Bronco is about the same size as electric SUVs like the Kia EV9.

The Bronco New Energy offers us state-of-the-art powertrain and e-power options, to guarantee more than competent power and efficient propulsion.
All-Electric Variant:

The EREV is smart and the petrol engine does not directly drive the wheels, it only assists the electric propulsion or charges the battery. Weighing in at 2,510kg, the EREV isn’t troubled by long distances.
