Built at Maruti Suzuki’s Gujarat plant, the Fronx caters to international markets across Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa, gaining popularity since its global debut in 2023. Reflecting on this milestone, Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki, emphasized the company’s committed strategy to dominate international markets. “Our focus on delivering high-quality vehicles that meet the evolving preferences of customers globally has been instrumental in achieving this landmark. Maruti Suzuki set another benchmark in FY2024-25, registering its highest-ever exports with over 3.3 lakh units, a remarkable 17.5% growth compared to the previous fiscal year. Alongside the Fronx, versatile models like the Jimny, Baleno, Swift, and Dzire have also contributed significantly to boosting overseas sales.
