Tata Motors is strengthening its position in the competitive SUV market with a significant feature update for the Curvv and Curvv EV. In a move that is sure to delight potential buyers, the company has infused both the internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) versions with a suite of new, premium amenities, all while keeping their ex-showroom prices firmly unchanged.
This strategic enhancement focuses squarely on elevating cabin comfort and luxury, directly addressing the desires of the modern, feature-conscious Indian consumer.
What’s New Inside the Cabin?

The updates are targeted at the higher-end variants—specifically the Accomplished trim for the Curvv ICE and both the Accomplished and Empowered trims for the Curvv EV. The most notable additions are designed to provide a first-class travel experience for all occupants.
Key introductions include:
- India’s First R-Comfort Seats: These front seats now offer passive ventilation, a boon for long drives in India’s climate.
- Enhanced Rear Seat Comfort: Rear passengers are treated to Serenity Screen sunshades for privacy and reduced glare, along with convenient EasySip cup docks integrated into the armrest.
- Premium Ambiance: The cabin receives a sophisticated makeover with a new white carbon fibre dashboard finish and Lalitpur Grey upholstery using plush Benecke-Kaliko leatherette.
Furthermore, the SUV-coupe now boasts a TwinZone Climate Concierge air conditioning system for individualized comfort. The Curvv EV gains exclusive extras like a PureComfort rear footrest and ErgoWing headrests, pushing its luxury quotient even higher. These freshly updated models have already started arriving at dealerships, with customer deliveries currently in progress.
Powertrain and Core Specifications

Underpinning these luxury features are two distinct and robust architectures. The Curvv ICE is built on the proven ATLAS platform, while the Curvv EV utilizes Tata’s dedicated acti.ev architecture for electric vehicles. Both body styles offer a practical 500-litre boot capacity, a notable figure for a coupe-inspired design.
The feature set remains comprehensive, including a voice-activated panoramic sunroof, a gesture-activated powered tailgate, a vibrant 12.3-inch Harman touchscreen, a 9-speaker JBL sound system, and the Arcade.ev app suite.
Safety is a paramount selling point, with the Tata Curvv having secured a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP. This is bolstered by a Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) suite, which adds a critical layer of active safety through features like adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist.
Performance at a Glance
- Tata Curvv (ICE): Buyers can choose between a 1.2L turbo-petrol engine (118 bhp, 170 Nm) and a 1.5L diesel engine (116 bhp, 260 Nm). Both engines are paired with either a 6-speed manual or a DCT automatic transmission.
- Tata Curvv EV: The electric variant offers two battery options: a 45 kWh pack producing 147 bhp and a larger 55 kWh pack delivering 164 bhp. Both provide a strong and instant torque output of 210 Nm, ensuring brisk acceleration.
With this update, Tata Motors has effectively increased the value proposition of the Curvv line-up, making an already compelling package even more attractive without passing on any additional cost to the customer.
