Jeep India has announced the launch of limited-run Trail Editions for its popular Compass and Meridian SUVs. Positioned above the Compass Longitude (O) and Meridian Limited (O) trims, these special editions boast distinct styling updates, exclusive features, and added ownership benefits under Jeep’s ‘Jeep Trust’ program.
The Compass Trail Edition exudes a rugged appeal with bold design elements such as Neutral Grey accents on the grille rings, ORVMs, roof rails, rear fascia, and emblems. Trail Edition graphics line the hood and sides, contrasting red accents adorn the front fascia, and Granite Metallic 18-inch dual-tone wheels complete its aggressive stance. The cabin is stylishly revamped with black upholstery enhanced by red contrast stitching and mid-bolster highlights, along with special Trail Edition all-weather mats and camouflage-inspired graphics.
The Meridian Trail Edition, on the other hand, elevates premium aesthetics with a gloss-black roof, Neutral Grey cladding details, Piano Black finishes on the roof rails, fog lamp bezels, and tail lamp surrounds. Red accents complement these updates, while the cabin presents a luxe mix of Trail-themed skid plates, scuff plates, and black vinyl interiors with red highlights.
Mechanically, both Trail Editions retain the powertrain and feature configurations of their standard counterparts. Pricing starts at ₹25.41 lakh for the Compass Trail Edition manual version, going up to ₹27.41 lakh for the automatic version. For the Meridian Trail Edition, prices range from ₹31.27 lakh for the manual variant to ₹37.27 lakh for the top-spec 4×4 automatic model (all prices, ex-showroom).
Complementary ownership benefits under ‘Jeep Trust’ further enhance the appeal of these offerings. The Compass Trail Edition comes with a free three-year Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC), a five-year extended warranty, and a direct cash discount of ₹20,000. Meridian Trail Edition buyers are also entitled to a three-year AMC at no additional cost.
