Hyundai has officially pulled the covers off the next-generation Venue, setting its Indian launch for November 4th. With bookings already open for a token amount of ₹25,000, this isn’t just a minor refresh but a comprehensive overhaul designed to strengthen its position in the competitive compact SUV segment.
For those wondering what sets the new model apart, we’ve broken down the six most significant upgrades that define the all-new Hyundai Venue.
A More Assertive Road Presence

The new Venue has undergone a subtle but effective growth spurt. While it retains the same overall length, it stands 48 mm taller and is 30 mm wider than its predecessor, giving it a more planted and robust stance. Crucially, the wheelbase has been extended by 20 mm, a change that typically translates to more generous legroom and a more comfortable cabin experience for all passengers.
A Cabin Transformed by Technology

Step inside, and the most dramatic change is immediately apparent: a sweeping, curved panoramic display that seamlessly blends a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. This single feature catapults the Venue’s cabin into the modern era, moving far beyond the previous model’s setup and offering a premium, driver-focused experience reminiscent of more expensive vehicles.
A Fresh and Modern Interior Ambiance

Complementing the high-tech screens is an entirely new interior design. The cabin features a fresh dual-tone theme combining Dark Navy and Dove Grey, creating an airy and upscale feel. You’ll find a new D-cut steering wheel adorned with four dots that form Hyundai’s ‘H’ logo, and thoughtful details like a terrazzo-textured crash pad garnish add a layer of sophistication and tactile quality absent in the outgoing model.
A Leap Forward in Features and Convenience

The new Venue is far more generously equipped. It introduces a host of first-in-segment or highly desirable features that were previously unavailable. The most notable addition is Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems), which provides semi-autonomous driving aids for enhanced safety on the highway. Other key additions include front ventilated seats, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, front parking sensors, and a powered driver’s seat, significantly boosting everyday comfort and convenience.
A Restructured Model Line-Up

Hyundai has also rethought how the Venue is configured. The familiar E, S, and SX variant names have been retired. In their place is a new HX-based nomenclature, with models ranging from the HX2 all the way up to the top-tier HX10. This new structure is expected to offer more transparent and streamlined feature progression across the different price points.
Enhanced Peace of Mind with Advanced Safety

Safety has been a major focus of this update. Beyond the high-tech Level 2 ADAS, the Venue now boasts a comprehensive safety suite that includes a 360-degree parking camera, six airbags as standard, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and hill-hold assist. This represents a significant step up in providing occupant protection and driver confidence.
Under the hood, Hyundai continues with the proven 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engines. However, for diesel enthusiasts, there’s a welcome new option: a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, making the diesel Venue a more relaxed and accessible choice for city driving.
