Suzuki Slashes Prices: Save Up to ₹18,024 on Bikes & Scooters After New GST Cut

Suzuki Slashes Scooter and Bike Prices

In a welcome move for two-wheeler enthusiasts across India, Suzuki Motorcycle India has announced substantial price reductions across its entire range of bikes and scooters with engines under 350cc. The decision comes as a direct response to the recent reduction in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) levied on these vehicles, and the company is passing the entire benefit on to the consumer.

The new, more affordable pricing will be effective from September 22, aligning with the date the revised GST structure comes into force.

Which Models Are Getting Cheaper?

The price cuts are comprehensive, affecting almost every popular model in Suzuki’s Indian portfolio. The most significant savings are found on the performance-oriented motorcycles, while the bestselling scooters also see considerable reductions.

Suzuki’s iconic Access 125, a perennial top-seller in the 125cc scooter segment, is now more accessible with a reduced price tag of up to ₹8,523. Its stylish and modern sibling, the Avenis, follows closely with a cut of ₹7,823. The maxi-scooter offerings, the Burgman Street and its premium EX variant, have become more affordable by ₹8,373 and ₹9,798 respectively.

For motorcycle fans, the news is even better. The sporty Gixxer series sees a starting price reduction of ₹11,520. The highlight, however, is the Gixxer SF 250, which receives the single largest price cut of a massive ₹18,024. Adventure touring enthusiasts eyeing the capable V-Strom SX will also benefit, as its price has been lowered by ₹17,982.

Beyond the Showroom

The financial good news isn’t limited to the initial purchase price. Suzuki has also confirmed that the reduced GST rate on spare parts and accessories will be passed on to customers. This policy shift is expected to directly translate into lower maintenance and servicing costs over the lifetime of the vehicle, making ownership of a Suzuki two-wheeler more economical than ever before.

This price revision positions Suzuki’s lineup more aggressively in the highly competitive Indian two-wheeler market. For potential buyers who have been considering a new scooter or motorcycle, this nationwide price drop presents an ideal opportunity to make their purchase and enjoy significant savings both upfront and in the long run.
