Triumph Unveils New Street Triple 765 RX and Moto2 Edition With Premium Upgrades

Triumph Unveils New Street Triple 765 RX and Moto2 Edition

Triumph has introduced two exciting, track-focused additions to its Street Triple 765 family, bringing race-inspired performance and premium components to riders who crave sharper handling and exclusivity. The new Street Triple 765 RX and the Moto2 Edition build upon the already impressive RS platform but elevate it with upgraded hardware, aggressive ergonomics, and distinctive styling touches.

While both variants share similar mechanical enhancements, they take different paths when it comes to exclusivity. The RX will be produced for just one year, giving it a short but impactful presence in the market. The Moto2 Edition, on the other hand, is capped at only 1,000 units worldwide—a tribute to Triumph’s ongoing role as the exclusive engine supplier for the Moto2 World Championship.

Both models continue using Triumph’s acclaimed 765cc liquid-cooled inline-triple engine, delivering 130hp at 12,000rpm and 80Nm of torque at 9,500rpm. A bi-directional quickshifter comes factory-fitted, supporting the bikes’ track-oriented character. They also run on Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tyres, enhancing grip and confidence during spirited riding.

A key highlight of the RX and Moto2 Edition is the significant step up in suspension. Both come equipped with fully adjustable 41mm Öhlins NIX30 front forks paired with the Öhlins STX40 monoshock at the rear. Triumph has also swapped out the standard handlebar for clip-ons, creating a sportier, more aggressive riding stance that leans closer to what riders experience on the racetrack. The braking system remains serious and capable, featuring dual 310mm front discs with Brembo Stylema monoblock calipers and a 220mm rear disc.

Visually, the two bikes show clear differences. The Street Triple 765 RX features a sleek silver finish accented by a red subframe and matching wheel pinstripes. Unique RX branding appears on the exhaust and seat, giving it a purposeful yet stylish look. The Moto2 Edition, however, embraces a more premium aesthetic. Nearly all of its bodywork—including the front mudguard, belly pan, side panels, and even the silencer end cap—is crafted from carbon fibre. Triumph calls it the most exclusive Street Triple ever built, and the detailing backs up that claim.

Triumph has yet to announce if either variant will be available in India. Still, considering the recent arrival of the limited-run Speed Triple 1200 RX earlier this year, there’s reason to believe Indian riders may get a chance to secure at least a handful of the new Street Triple RX units as well.

Both versions showcase Triumph’s commitment to pushing the Street Triple platform further into track territory, blending high-spec engineering with distinctive design and exclusivity. For riders looking for a more focused, race-derived naked motorcycle, these new models make a compelling case.
